I'm looking at getting one of these, in manual transmission form, which engine is more reliable! am sick of potholes / quake damaged roads so something like this will be good for a while.

2.8, just make sure the cambelt isn't due. You can fit a (larger) turbo + intercooler from a 3.1 to a 2.8 engine, and a full 3 inch free flow exhaust system. Good little trucks.

2.8 has proved itself more reliable and seems to cope with modification better than the 3.1

In a square box, top left hand side of the screen, just below "All items". Under "keyword or member".
