By the time the original buttons are worn out the battery in your key fob maybe just about gone and I think is non replacement. New keys, including reprogramming are more than $100 at a Holden dealer but there may be cheaper alternatives.

In Perth some dealers charge around AUD$300 per key. (ie New & reprogrammed) I know because I had to get one. The cheapest one I got was AUD$150 for 2 keys but that was over 2yrs ago. So the price has probably gone up.
I'm just wondering if I could get these keys from NZ and sell it back over here in Oz :) Are you able to get these keys without the car having to be physically there!
