HI GUYS does the VL Nissan engined Commodore auto have the same gearbox and diff as the 1989 Nissan Cefiro! same power train right through,or is Commodore ozzy box and diff.thanks
totally differnt diff setups as nissan has independant rear and holden doesnt. Auto trans might be the same the manual gearboxs only have minor differances but still bolt in

Trans is a similar Jatco unit but the VL uses Oz made BorgWarner diff, as did the Oz built R31 Skylines.

the holdens use an earlier model non computerised trans than the cefiro, also an earlier model of EFI system was used in the holdens.
