Hi I am looking at a 4x4 to tow boat and drive along beach one of the cars im looking at is 15000km in arrears in ruc who would be liable for the arrears is it the previous owner or is it up to the new owner. Thanks.

THE NEW BUYER ! Don't believe it if you're told that it doesn't matter. I looked at a van that had $3000 owing on Road User and I would have had to pay it if I had brought it. Needless to say, I walked away from this "bargain"
