Might have to alter the inner guards and the bonnet-oh, and don't forget the upgrade the front suspension and brakes.lol

mechnificent, Jan 23, 6:57pm
Why don't you get the fourteen cylinder model! They're smoother.

franc123, Jan 23, 6:57pm
you will crack the head if you don't upgrade the radiator. But you're probably used to that.

mrfxit, Jan 23, 6:58pm
Well at least it comes with it's own flywheel or do you think I might have to change it!

bigfatmat1, Jan 23, 7:03pm
hey its common rail it will be economical @3.8l per sec

bigjerry, Jan 23, 7:05pm
Holy fark, Thats the coolest thing I ever saw. I guess they just drop that puppy in and build a service bay around it.

un_known, Jan 23, 7:08pm
makes the truck look like a toy.

mrfxit, Jan 23, 7:08pm

mrfxit, Jan 23, 7:13pm

mrfxit, Jan 23, 7:21pm

mechnificent, Jan 23, 7:22pm
Whoo, that is one sexy looking ship!

mechnificent, Jan 23, 7:23pm
Comon Mr, get the fourteen cyl. stop being cheap.

mechnificent, Jan 23, 7:24pm
I'd like that bent conrod for in my garden.
It'd make a nice seat.

bigjerry, Jan 23, 7:25pm
yeah, ive heard its quite common in those old things, dodgy oil pumps you see. Bottom ring gets hot and BAMN, every time.

clark20, Jan 23, 7:37pm
But you may need a step up box first, they max out about 100rpm

skin1235, Jan 23, 8:05pm
mt hp to kw X.735
that maersk island pumps out 80115 kw
at 123000 payload, wonder what the gross is but a fair bet she has a better power to weight ratio than most trucks on the road today, the damm thing can do 47km/p/h, on a run, and can do 55km/p/h has 5 aux motors, big cats, another 40,000hp -29400kw, possibly for bow thrusters etc and or manoeuvring
with 123000 tonnes on her deck she'd need some under-carriage and ballast to stay upright

bigjerry, Jan 23, 8:08pm
i love it when you talk dirty like that!

mechnificent, Jan 23, 8:18pm
Yeah but I think it is the most efficient diesel motor in the world.

skin1235, Jan 23, 8:28pm
it's a blown 2 stroker and @100 rpm thats 1400 shots per min, 84000 shots per hour from 6275 lt per hour so .075 lt per shot, 75mils per shot, that thing runs on the smell of an oily rag, a 13mm fuel line would be overkill - per cylinder,
the blower would be quite large, not sure what pressure it would run, could even be a turbo rather than a blower
