I'd like that bent conrod for in my garden. It'd make a nice seat.

yeah, ive heard its quite common in those old things, dodgy oil pumps you see. Bottom ring gets hot and BAMN, every time.

But you may need a step up box first, they max out about 100rpm

mt hp to kw X.735 that maersk island pumps out 80115 kw at 123000 payload, wonder what the gross is but a fair bet she has a better power to weight ratio than most trucks on the road today, the damm thing can do 47km/p/h, on a run, and can do 55km/p/h has 5 aux motors, big cats, another 40,000hp -29400kw, possibly for bow thrusters etc and or manoeuvring with 123000 tonnes on her deck she'd need some under-carriage and ballast to stay upright

i love it when you talk dirty like that!

Yeah but I think it is the most efficient diesel motor in the world.

it's a blown 2 stroker and @100 rpm thats 1400 shots per min, 84000 shots per hour from 6275 lt per hour so .075 lt per shot, 75mils per shot, that thing runs on the smell of an oily rag, a 13mm fuel line would be overkill - per cylinder, the blower would be quite large, not sure what pressure it would run, could even be a turbo rather than a blower
