my 88 surf two door has the reverse lights on all the time.have tryed playing with wires behind the rear lights.also clutch at the end of pedal maybe needs adjusting any suggestions.unsure where the adjustment is!

I would suggest the switch in the gearbox is toast.

Agreed or very likely a shorted wire (rubbed through the covers & earthed)
