Future!! Its ALWAYS been a classic.

Actually the old Multipla's are traded for some serious coin nowdays if they are in good condition.

I disagree, z32 300zx won Car and Driver car of the year throughout its production year consecutively (6 years). You're wrong about the market as most z32 owners I know are 30+, and you're wrong again when it comes to 'serious machinery'. VG30DETT is still the quickest and fastest modified Nissan engine to date with Lazcano's 6 second run (quickest) and Jun-Blitz Bonneville salt lake speed record which is currently still unbroken (fastest). FYI Jun modified a 2JZ 2 years later to try beat their own record and failed.

As far as pedigree goes it meets all requirements for a future classic + has been featured in magazines stating its a future classic. Its an under-apprecaited car yes, but not a serious machinery!

Sorry, not unless my dad was naughty a few years before I was born! But your point is a good one, put 6k in the bank today and with compounding interest, I bet its worth more than what you would sell a GTR or WRX for in 20 years time, without the hassle of storage, insurance, rust etc.

Try & buy a Trabanthighly prized POS ever made& only because 99% of them were put on the Bonn fire( made of all sorts of burnable material . Proves that to be collectable doesnt mean it was any good . Think about HD holdensbig POS but still collectable.

Yeah, and 1 cent one at that. a Liberty Penny is usually considered a fair trade.
