Am wanting to replace the 4 speed gearbox in my VK with a 5 speed, am having issues finding a box that will.Have been told a T5g will bolt straight on, but these are really rare to find.Any help/info at all would be really helpfull.The VK SS is a v8 carbuerated engine

The same block was used in The VL just changes made for unleaded fuel,
you are after a borg warner T5.
these are still being used in vehicle such as the Ssangyong Musso etc, so hunt around wreckers, as this will be your best option.
It is then just a case of finding the bell housing etc
