does any one know what the symptoms are for buggered airflow meter! any suggestions greatfully received cheers.

cheers, may be not my problem.i've got engine runs sweet,plenty power, smooth idle. but sometimes when reaching approx 70 kph it starts running rough, like it wants to go but cant, then after a few secs it clears up. some days goes ok so not very consistent. any ideas please!

seems a bit weird. Would be handy to have diagnostics connected to see what the computer is thinking when it misbehaves.

you might be starting to have problems with your ignition module(inside distributor) other wise do a computer scan and go from thier

the computer wont tell you much, just stuff like if theres open circuits in the sensor equipment but from recording a log and analysing it afterwards you might see some things not quite correct.

these are notorius for airflow problems its part of the throttle body. check codes but in my experiance most the time there is no codes for that fault
