The car is a 95 Rav4 (yes i know, rav4), and the manifold seems to heat up real quick from a cold start (about 5 mins, it's hot to touch).
Any suggestions! Cheers

Well the hot exhaust gases are escaping through it and the temperature of them doesn't vary a lot whether the engine is hot or cold so yes it will heat up fairly quickly.

Oh sweet. I was testing it against my skyline (also from a cold start) and it took much longer to warm up.Cheers mate

The exhaust manifolds on modern cars are supposed to heat faster as it improves the efficiency of the Catalytic converter and therefore reduces emmisions.

re an exhaust manifold, the skyline one is thick cast, isnt the rav one steel tube!

If it's 5 mins I would suggest it's water going through the inlet manifold
