Seller, said about $500 which sounds a bit steep. They said they think topseal needs replaced! Would of thought it would be easier to just replace!
What's your ideas!

I got a fuel pump replaced on a 98 subaru wrx wagon about 12 months ago and the part cost $180 from memory and then I was charged one hours labour on top of that. Total bill was $243.

Diesel pumps are alot darer than petrol.Maybe ring around to see if just top seal can be replaced
