Hi, hubby just brought a mitsi to hack in the bush and needs to know if he can take the oil sump off the engine without taking the engine out!Its a 3.5 litre V6 1993.Can't find any info on internet, any one know!

He is unsure if there is enough room to get it out without taking out engine. and would rather see if anyone actually knows before he does have a go!Thanks

Thats a question simply answered by taking a look. I have two Pajeros, and can take the sump of without engine. If hes taking a sump of, he should know!
yeah should be able to, might be a tight fit with the front diff in the way though. You could just lift the engine up a few inches.

Thanks for the help, hubby is gunna do a diy job, then if he stuffs it up he can only blame himself! haha
