Parts can be hard to get a hold of, but not impossible. Common faults - rust, and blown head gaskets. If you can get one for SFA, go for it.
Oh, and how do you pronounce your username!

Yep, they make all sorts of stuff, electrical components, heat pumps, fridges, you name it.

If it's tidy, and has no overheating or water loss problems, yes. But, to be on the safe side, I would still like to advise you to get the car checked out by someone who's mechanically minded.

I would be inclined to go for the Daewoo if it's in good condition .Daewoos are very under-rated so will be cheap to buy, yet they are very sound cars.
I have had two Daewoos and they gave no probs at all.Spare parts were said to be plentiful.Check out Holden Dealers for parts.I think many were branded as Holdens.

Friend of mine had a low speed head on with a Golf in one if these, not pretty.
She was lucky neither car was going any faster, as the cielo did not fair well.

The basic design is from the first part of the 80s so that make sense
