Anyone know the approx cost to insure a caravan, that cost $30,000 to buy, is it the same as car insurance! thanks in advance if anyone knows

Costs $100 to insure our van with SIS. But it aint worth 30 grand.

It might be similar to campervans, aprox $300/yr, but at least you don't have the ridiculous rego including ACC, Road user charges, and COF charges. just to use it for 4 months of the year.

I agree with what you say and we had a bill of $700 for our motorhome, so now we are not insured , it is just to expensive.

It will be parked up and not on the road, does that make any difference! I guess it still needs rego/warrant even parked up!
