I've got a 1980 4wd hilux with a pretty tired cab, mates got a 79 2wd with sweet cab. Anyone know if these will simply swap over! Cheers

Never done one of them but the later mid 90's 2WD cabs bolt onto the earlier LN65 chassis's no problem, all the holes lined up so there's probably heaps of interchangability throughout the years.

Yes Its easy unless it youre putting on a 2wd cab onto a 4wd chassis. The two wheel drive doesnt have the mounts on the radiator support panel. They would have to be swaped off the old cab. Also the hole in the tunnel for the 4wd shifter and wiring loom. otherwise easy.

Do any of you know whether there is much difference between a LN65 chassis and a LN106 chassis! Both of them are solid axle/leaf sprung, 4 by 4 beasties. Ta.
