Argh I had it up and running before but I took the wires apart to set it up and now forgotten again :( It is a honda city 1988 if that helps jason :)

Thanks they dont have the city up there though, but looking at the civic they say blue/white, so I might try the blue and green stripe and see if that works tomorrow

Ok. You need to double check with a volt meter to make sure there is power going to the right wire at the right time. Red from the stereo (if universal wiring) will be constant power, and yellow which is acc power. As for the speakers If your wanting good sound set up your own and re-wire them.

I think you will find that yellow is constant 12v;)

But yes, I would highly recommend a test light or meter. Definitely don't go just chucking wires together and hoping for the best;)

Pretty sure orange wire is illumination wire.
