Selling as is where is question

I have gone through some older threads and just want to confirm.If selling as is where is and it has a sign on window stating this with the price.When buyer picks up do we have get him to sign a receipt that clearly states it is sold as is where is with no rego (on hold) and no WOF.Thanks

You do not have too as far as I know, BUT would be a very wise thing to do. Could save a lot of arguments later.

Definitely write something up that clearly states the conditions of the sale, the money paid (full and final etc), and both sign it. Protects you both. ALso don't let it out of your sight until the buyer has completed the change of ownership.

Yes, you do. The buyer must acknowledge and accept, in writing, that the WoF is not compliant with being less than 1 month old.
