What is the rough estimation costs to put a car through compliance!I want to check out a car, but it needs to be complied so I won't be worrying about any work at this stage.just want to know what the basic cost it.

compliance varies with different vehicles, no point asking for a rough cost when things like year, engine size, seats and other things can alter it. best to list the vehicle huh

$400-$500 for the inspection then any repairs and certification extra, then you registration costs on top of that. i would work on min of a $1000, plus you only get 20 working days to do any repairs or you start again.

if the car was never regsitered on nz roads then be verry verry verry carfull. as there is huge tough laws for carsthat are first time registered on nz roadswith emission test frontal impact airbagall has to function and pass the test or it be stamped on the paper cant ever be registered on nz road = scrap metal or spear parts only.

On or after 1 January 2012 and before 1 January 2013
diesel need to be euro 4 since 2008. hence none make it hardly on the used cars sales lot.
