Douse your windscreen in petrol before going to bed. In the morning, simply throw a match on it and wait for the ice to melt away. Easy!

I use an old single sheet Drapes over the front and back and also covers the sides and yea just pull off in the morning and hang up to use next night. That is of course if my old sheets havent been used as rags!

Fit a half height garage door in to your lounge wall. Before going to bed, open the door and park your car half in the lounge, bonnet pointing toward the fireplace. In the morning the front half of your car will be toasty warm and ice free.

Possibly.

Invest in a second hand Skyhawk, recommission it, then park it in front of your car. In the morning, simply start the Skyhawk up and watch as the jetwash melts the ice on your car as if by magic.

If you turn your car upside down before going to bed you wont have frost on the windows in the mornings.

If you're just visiting, don't bother with a cover.

For a car that lives outside, a good cover is better than every part of your car being completely wet with condensation every night. But a tarp will not last long exposed to sunlight, and it will scratch the paint also.

Na, just generalising. South Auckland is probably bigger than the whole region around Levin and it aint all like some people like to portray it. Look at places like Howick, Whitford or Clevedon to name a few - some of the most expensive housing in NZ with low crime rates, but still in South Auckland. Numbnuts like elect70 from some hick town going nowhere doesn't know shit.

We have this saying here in Taumarunui "Call Danny McGuire"

Danny rolled out of the pub one night and found a woman struggling with the removal of ice from her windscreen - so Danny helped.

Judgement followed.

Just lift the wipers and place a newspaper under each side, simple cheap and works well even if it rains or blows in the night.

cant be out in the sun

warehouse ones turn to custard by 6 months old

If you do that, the water would have re-frozen by the time you've finished your quickie. A bucket of warm water works perfect but really need to use the wipers straight away to dry the screen off, demister only half the story IMO

OK, I give up. What are you on about!
