Very, if they were looked after, they'll do over 500 000kms no problem at all. But, changing alternator belt is a f.ing mission.

So's the power steering belt when the adjuster nut jams and rounds off! Really reliable but watch out for rust problems.

thursty around town to run! rust in the back door, and check radiator is nice and full of antifreeze ,not rust! or you will cook them, do 600.00ks if looked after,

Very thirsty but go well. As with any Hiaces of this model, look out for rust around the side and back windows and agree with what others mentioned about the radiators including the small radiator for the heater. I sold my last diesel model with 687000kms on the clock.
