Toyota Allex/Runx vs Ford Focus - autos.

Hi, due to the lack of manuals and selection Ive been convinced to go auto! Im kinda deciding between a toyota allex/runx hatch or a Ford Focus, similar engine size, but the Fords seem to be a lot cheaper (or have lower mileage for the same price). Just wondering what people's experience is with either car, recommendations - is it true that Toyota's hardly EVER break down, and are cheaper to get fixed! And what do I need to look out for when buying a an auto thats 3-7 years old!

Thanks

How much motorway crawling do you do !
Are you able to hop on a plane for the northern car possibilities !
Will you regret getting an auto if you could have had a manual !
Budget !

If you are getting an automatic car, Toyota is the way to go, but it doesn't mean it will never break down. Parts for Toyotas are easier and quicker to get than most euros. Cheaper to get fixed! Yes, most of the time.
