has all forward gears, changes gear no worries but hardly any reverse, have to give the old girl a few revs to move (slowly). Clutch pack gone!, 2L-TE, LN-130, Be cheaper to get a 2nd hand tranny or get this one rebuilt!, shame it had to happen at this point in time.

Could be the trans ecu. Had one do this once. second hand trans ecu fixed it

where is the trans ecu located!, engine ecu down in the passenger side footwell, cheers (will have a google as well), can usually feel it change into reverse like any auto trans will and can still feel it do that but nothing, Fluid is full and nice and red, Filter/fluid etc was replaced about 2 months ago

You should have an A44D trans in your truck, when its clutchs usually its reverse goes first.Overhaul kit would be about $300 from the states.

Okaaaay, had a look on google and there is the engine ecu by the passengers footwell, one under the shifter and one behind the ashtray, hmmmm wonder which one.

It wont be the ecu very common for the clutch to go and peter you can get kits local for $120

Yes, but there's a couple more wires to disconnect, flat sump = bonus. You will need a good transmission jack.

yip its a flat sump and yes a good trans jack as they arnt the smallest things are they lol, so who sells the kits for $120!
