I think you need to calm down and stop yelling, you don't want to blow a gasket.

Is it a 325i or lower model!

Are you sure you didn't lock it!

Sounds like the double look was engaged, also i know on the E34 if you hold the key in the 'double lock' position the windows go up and sunroof closes, pretty sure E36 are the same.

you need to jack it up from the left rear , to offset the mercury switch so you can manually open the car from the drivers door useing the key. after it has reached 4 degrees the mercury switch will dissengage ,put the key in the drivers door for 45 seconds and the left rear window will come down automaticlly . you can then reach threw and open the car using a blue welding glove on youre right hand whilst wearing size 12 redbands and standing on a double brown beercrate .

Are the keys inside the car!Sounds like someone has played a 'joke' on you, as it shouldn't be possible to accidentally lock your keys in the car with this model.Or your electrics have gone haywire.And/Or your battery is dead flat, which can cause strange problems with the locks.

The car is fitted with deadlocks which means pulling up the lock button won't unlock the doors. It'svery good anti-theft measure, and can only be disengaged with the key or with an appropriately wired alarm system. If the car battery is flat the locks won't disengage with the alarm; however: the spare key should be able to manually unlock either of the front doors, sometimes there is a system fitted which involves turning the key in the lock "too far" while pulling up on the handle.(E34 has this on the passenger door, not 100% sure about E36).

Good luck!

I don't have any double brown crates, will a lion red crate work the same!

whynot7, May 9, 1:32am
yes you can use a lion red crate but will need to wear a red glove not a blue one

Dont all cars have to able to be able to be unlocked from inside regardless of alarms / battery condition , Christthey make these things so bloody complicated it prevents you getting into your own car .And of course the instructions are in the handbook locked inside the glove box .What ever happened to the KISS principal, if they want to steal your car all this crap wont stop them .
