He was actually doing well this weekend until his gearbox blew up.

If your gearbox is stuck in 5th, why would you need an excuse!
He was running well up until he had a mechanical problem.
Poor old Coulthard was the innocent when he was wiped out too.
Foggy may well have won the NZV8s, but his gearbox packed up in race two.
That is motorsport.
