Cars will always be faster than bikes, until a bike has done a return trip of Ehra Lessien and managed to average more than 413km/h like a car has.

Thats the point car drivers just dont get, bike owners know what its like to have that performance because its far far far more affordable if you have the balls.They can talk from experience. Id rather own the bike and know what its like than have to watch a video of the car wishing I had one. Bit like watching porn because you cant get the real thing.

Line the bike and car up from the top of the north island-south and see what the story is. Since buying a decent 1000cc sports bike all aspirations for owning 'fast' cars have gone out the window. A waste of time imo.

You lot are missing the whole deal I think. The bike guy comes back every 12 months with upgrades and has a rolling 60mph challenge with the cars,for a $1. We all know they have different apllications and are better in some areas than others. I was impressed by some of the gear,and from the bike speedo you can see how fast some of that gear is.

The difference being for around $12k you can get a bike that will do 300KPH some how i doubt you will find a car that will do that for the same price. You get way more bang for your buck with a bike.

Actually I'm not sure I see the point of what they do. The winner could entirely be worked out on paper with the stats of the cars. Fun though :PI guess that's the point.

where money is no object, cars are faster, but for most people money is a factor so therefore bikes are the answer to going fast. i mean a 30k car is never going to beat a 30k turbo bike!
