while driving the car the check engine light come on.When safe to stop i shut off engine,restarted and carried on,no engine light has come back on since.Any thoughts!

AFM fault, Ign coil fault crank angle sensor intermittent fault or cam angle. VVTI actuator momentary block. knock sensor out of range. Speed sensor fault. Umm thats not even half the reasons the engine light would come on. but something to think about aye

Heres a go. find the DLC3 plug. It's down by the bonnet release lever. You might need to get down low and look up. Once you find it connect terminals TC and CG with a paper clip or bit of wire. Then turn the ign to on and count the flash code that the engine light outputs.
