whats wrong with the injection gear! if you are getting rid of it I may be keen to take it off your hands.!

I don't think the injection gear would work too well on a Carburetted head as I think there is some machining in the 4.1 injected head that the carburetted head doesn't have.where the injector points towards from the inlet.
Or is the carb head and induction being put on complete!
But I could be wrong.

mate crush it and get a new one unless u got a enormos bank balance or v8 it more power better economy 351 cleverland 2 brrel headers 26 mpg cost you around 2 grand set it all up

the heads are interchangeable. the injected heads had a slightly revised combustion chamber and lower compression than the carb heads. you may find that you'll need to back the timing off a couple of degrees or run premium fuel or it may ping a bit. (you'll see what i mean about the heads as soon as you compare them, the carb heads have more meat between the valves on one side)
(i had a late model ('86)carb XF s pac that had the electronic ignition setup and the heads looked the same between Injected and carb)
