mazdas(not the rota type) are pretty reliable cars full stop. my daughters car has a B5 motor still running strong at 235k

I had a 1993 626 in at work this morning for a wheel alignment. Drove superb, nothing felt fragile, bone dry underneath.
And 411k on the clock!

They were always a reliable car,some of them would burn out the electronic ignition module, a cheap easy repair if it happened.
