How much does a subaru legacy trans flush cost! its 2001, gtb. was quoted 600 by subaru. Sounds excessive!

If its a full flush it's not too bad. 12-15L fluid, trans filter and pan gasket, fluid additive if required, labour etc quickly adds up

depends on what the transmission is if it has dextron fluids just done a 1996 legacy cost me 10$ cork gasket 26$ trans filter and i used 14 liter dextron 3 in total to flush and refill trans cost to client 230$

here is what i recommend you do you go to a automatic transmission rebuild place and get a quote from them if its got dextron in the box then it should not cost more then 300$ to fully service by transmission specialist

dex 3 fluidand has external spin on trans filterinside inner passenger guard no need to take pan off
