WhenAlonso and Massa don't do cold, Ferrari look for alternatives. Markku on the snow.

When I lived in Finland in 95 they told me that there were only 5 Ferraris in Finland. Due to the speeding fines etc.

Would you really want to take your new ferrari out on the snow! It looks scary even with highly skilled F1 drivers! Think this is a scene where a full rally spec car could beat a ferrari!

i dont think thats what ferrari had in mind when they designed it.but then the designer mustve had a bad case of beer googles cause that car is UGLY

Juha Kankkunen had a Ferrari collection to go with the rally car collection. Though the numbers might have changed.

Im guessing they are AWD Ferraris as RWD would not get too far in snow.

The FF stands for 4 wheel drive and 4 seats. And most of the people that consider the car ugly are people that could never afford to buy one.

Same goes for a certain other Italian motoring icon.

Poor Alfa LOL

Yes.Quite an achievement. The first time I've seen Land Rover fail to rank absolutely worst in one of these surveys for a while.
Nissan's fall and Mercedes rise to 10th are noteworthy IMO, the reasons behind those changes in ranking probably confirm the obvious.

BMW being #18 is quite low, I owned a couple and the built quality was quite amazing.

Well I think the 4WD Ferrari looks great.

Just because you can go fast, it's not compulsory to have a fastback roofline.

Porsche is ranked #23, and from my experience build quality is exceptional. But these are performance cars, complex and expensive to maintain, I expect nobody buys one if they're looking for a cheap daily drive for getting to work and back.So balance ranking against what you need. The Germans (TUV) do a ranking of their own, based on "customer satisfaction".Of course in Germany, the German makers top the rankings.
If you need something so that your kids don't feel underprivileged when you turn up at pony club, and that the damage to their sense of well-being will cause them irreparable harm, then by all means buy a Range Rover. The massive maintenance cost might be a bargain compared with the cost for ongoing therapy - psychologists charge much more per hour than motor mechanics.
