An ex cop car and lpg dedicated. I love driving it but when started cold the tappets rattle. Once it warms up, no probs. Are they hydraulic and can something easy be done ! I remember having the same prob with a Subaru and there was some kind of engine flush that fixed it. Any ideas ! Cheers.

They are hydraulic lifters, and the problem can be remedied by using a low viscosity oil and maybe some ProMa MBL8 additive.
