VN/VP, 700-R4. VR, 4L60. Others, 4L60E (electronic). Thats what I reckon anyway, just fixed our 700-R4, now does what it should!

mine is over pressurising and blowing out oil mostly in reverse so thought a second hand 1 the cheepest fix

If it has a modulator, you can adjust it. lots of info on the interweb, just search '700-R4' I found everything I needed a couple of weeks ago. Although, our TV cable had been adjusted wrong.
