Holden cruze transmisson fail

Any ideas / guess of fault. Driving 2010 cruze, going 50km/h car started reving like it was in neutral (auto trans) car has only done 49,000 km.have lost forward gears, only have reverse .any thoughts towed away today.

could be anything. dodgy solenoid/ecu.
every car has its weird electrical fails.

of course you should have bought a ford. :) sorry just had to put that in there.

i agree, AA wouldn't check level when i broke down - Car was serviced 2 weeks ago , you could be right

You mean Daewoo Cruz badged by Holden. Says it all really. Get it fixed under warranty and get rid of it before it comes out of warrednty.

It's called the Daewoo Lacetti Premiere in South Korea. Only Holden and Chevrolet call it the Cruze.

OMG. Another crazy vehicle name. What is it with manufacturers and car names! Can't they think of anything practical yet original!
I'd be embarrassed to own or drive some of the offerings out there today, with the ridiculous names they have.
