I have a Pitworks battery that was fitted to my car when it was in Japan. It has the date code 7KK22 stamped into the top. Can anyone definitively decipher this! I suspect the 7 refers to 1997 and the K refers to November but I don't know about the K22 after that!

I think the last 3 digits indicate the plant where it was made.
