One of my delightful children left a door slightly ajar overnight, hence battery was flat as a pancake this morning.We jump started it and taken it for a good drive.However car is beeping.Any ideas why!It's a constant beep when driving and only changes when car stops and key still in ignition (beeping increases in speed).Car is a Toyota Ipsum 2001.
Would appreciate any help.

Do you have a car alarm fitted! Perhaps it's the battery back up on the alarm system. It'll likely dissapear within a few hours of driving as the back up battery re-charges.
Or I may be talking out of my hat :-)

The beeping has stopped now.Buggered if I know why though.No alarm fitted and the beeping was coming from within the car somewhere, not the horn.We were guessing that it meant the battery hadn't fully recharged but really had no idea.After a 20 minute drive and an hour later if finally stopped.Just seemed very strange.
