Hey everybody. I have a R32 non turbo skyline that has a RB30det in it and want to know exactly whats involved and needed to put a 25det (bigbox) into it.Frankly the 20det gearbox is not going to withstand the power once the motors finished after being repowered! Anyone else who has done this convers. i need your help!!!
will bolt up to auto body. need a little modding to x member if manual.
and driveshaft modded about 30mm I think it was and yoke

You'll need a driveshaft hoop(s) too (check with your cert guy for more specific info).The gearbox will need to be modified to accept the R32 speedo cable, the speedo is controlled electronically on the 25DET box.

You use an mechanical speedo drive from a r32 gtr, r32 gts4 (manaul or auto), or 4wd a31 cefiro gearbox/trans.

Is it 30mm more or less for the driveshaft.yes my r32 was a auto but converted to manual

I heard you can modify a Nissan Navara mechanical speedo drive to suit.

Im not too fussed about drive shaft hoops as its going to be a track car and wont need no cert but still want speedo to work.

have heard same but harder to find, and then you have to mod. just keep an eye out for an auto r32 gts4 trans, they not worht much
