I tried reversing out of my driveway but reverse didn't work and instead lifted my car really high. So now it's sitting up really high, handbrake was down of course. My car usually beeps when reversing and it didn't beep this time. I went through a few highish puddles yesterday so don't know if this has something to do with it! Any advice is greatly appreciated.

I didn't try going forward because I have parked up close to my bbq. I might beable to move it and try going forward though.

Sounds like the hand brake shoes are stuck on even tho you have released the hand brake lever. You will have to try going forward like Tony has surgested.

This is a windup. She's trying to tell us she's backed over the BBQ or some other 'object'. Lol.

All fixed! You were right - the rear brakes were stuck on which had something to do with the water I drove through yesterday (so I am told). Thanks for your help!
