Is there a recommended brand of 5w-30 that should be Used in a suby wrx Sti 2.5 turbo! As this is what the user manual recommends, but doesn't specify a particular brand.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance :)

I definitely got the right grade 5w-30 :) yeah I wasn't sure if the brand was really important or not. Good to know :)
Thats the viscosity, you need the right grade or spec oil, it will say something like API SM/CI-4, the SM part is for petrol engines, the CI-4 is the spec for diesel engines. most oils these days are mixed fleet oils meaning they will work in both petrol and diesel engines as long as the spec meets the manufacturers specs.
