Oil brand for a Subaru impreza wrx Sti 08

Is there a recommended brand of 5w-30 that should be
Used in a suby wrx Sti 2.5 turbo! As this is what the user manual recommends, but doesn't specify a particular brand.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance :)

The grade is important.

I definitely got the right grade 5w-30 :) yeah I wasn't sure if the brand was really important or not. Good to know :)

Thank you

i was reading in ozvr4 for mitsi's running 2.5l twin turbo and alot of the members also use same grade and recommends amsoil. apparently it's not as cheap as most likes of castrol magnetic or valvolines etc but lasts upto 25,000k between oil changes. http://syntheticoil.co.nz/price-list-nz-inc-gst/viewitem/50/01-motor-oil/5w30-100%25-synthetic-oil. there's a link to have a look.

Thats the viscosity, you need the right grade or spec oil, it will say something like API SM/CI-4, the SM part is for petrol engines, the CI-4 is the spec for diesel engines. most oils these days are mixed fleet oils meaning they will work in both petrol and diesel engines as long as the spec meets the manufacturers specs.
