Can a wrx body handle

codsta_6199, Oct 4, 1:12pm
having an evo engine in it!

jasongroves, Oct 4, 1:18pm
What do you mean by 'handle'!

r15, Oct 4, 8:36pm
would it not just be a hell of a lot easier to buy an evo!or if you prefer the WRX shape then just buy a WRX and mod it however you like engine wise

richardmayes, Oct 4, 8:46pm
Could your mum handle having me in her!

That's the real question.

bigjerry, Oct 4, 9:39pm
Do you know what your on about! strange question. Can you handle the truth!

bellky, Oct 4, 9:42pm
think he's talking about the extra power. i think the body of the rex would twist with the power/torque of an evo mtr.

bellky, Oct 4, 9:43pm
my mum wouldn't even notice you - if she did; she'd kill ya. lol

rocker_553, Oct 4, 9:44pm
lol, award for dumbest question of the month, along with "how much will it cost to repaint my (unknown) car"

bigjerry, Oct 4, 10:38pm
Im no expert, and I might just be a bit biased about riceburners, But arent WRX's and EVO's similar pieces of shit. Couldnt either be as powerful as the other!

bellky, Oct 4, 10:42pm
yip

foxdonut, Oct 4, 10:44pm
Practically the same.

The most powerful evo motor I can think of comes out of the FQ400 (400 horses). There are plenty of 500hp WRX's not twisting themselves apart (with all that power.lol) so I doubt the sub 300 4G evo motor is going to present any real challenges.

Seems like an absolute waste of time and money as well.

yeah thats what i thought.OP.stay out of the shed for a year or 2 mate.

I'm assuming this is a piss take, but the answer is yes. Disadvantages to that modification would be:
1. Waste of time.
2. Waste of money.
3. Ruined handling of the car (boxer motors have lower centre of gravity).
4. Certification required (and god knows what else).
