Does anyone know how to establish which thrust bearing to use! I believe toyota uses three different size (thickness) bearings. I am matching a LN106 bellhousing to a 3L engine, have the short fork. Any advise much appreciated.

There is only one for the 106. If your buying the genuine kit it will have the correct one in it. If your going after market then you will have to match up to what the supplier has in stock. If you put the bearing face down and measure from the table surface to the tag on the bearing housing you will have the spec you need

Thanks, just unsure how far forward the bearing would normally slideon the g/b input housing. I assume it would'nt slide forward beyond the end. My new pressure plate and bearing are not from a kit unfortunately.
