my sr5 toyota hilux 2wd 2.4 diesel seems to be screaming at a 100ks .doing 3000rpm ,what diff ratio would it have and can you get a higher ratio diff for it!

Look under the bonnet and find the makers tag, you'll find the diff code next to where it says driveline or trans/diff. Google that code and you'll find out. From memory it'll be somewhere in the mid fours. There are a few different ratios and crossovers from other models and petrol utes etc.

From memory 4.88 to one. see an american site called eriks diffs.com
