does any one know if a g52 2wd gearbox of a 22r engine is the same as a diesel gearbox from a 2L or 3L!

Same 2wd for 2wd versions . NO, very probably not because of different gearing + the diesel box would be stronger gears because of increased torque

i have a hilux rn90 1992 hilux with a 1uzfe in it and its running the g52 22r box and its getting very noisy.is a g52 a w55 or is that another box!

Presuming your's is the 2wd, why didn't you use the 1uzfe box

a g series box has a different bell housing pattern at the gearbox end to a w series box so whatever bellhousing or adaptor plate your running probly wont fit the w series box
