hi the utes decided to make me walk , i noticed theeletric fuel pump was making a little bit of a different sound ,got half way home ,the old girl stopped ,ive checked the fuses ,all ok ,do they have a reset ,or am i up for a newy ,, any help would be great ,cheers tony

Normally they get noisy when there's no petrol going through them

You could have a block before it or the fuel gauge could be wrong and you have a gas maybe

gauges on quter and accurate normally .shes makin no noise usully humms all the time,just stopped thenso did i, every thing else fine power to fuse ect

Hook up the pump with some jumper leads and see if it runs then - that will eliminate any wiring issues.
