Mitsubishi Chariots = smokers?

Not of the variety that has John Key jumping for glee either. seems like a few I've come across listed on here all have issues with white smoke, what would the cause of that be! Anything serious!

They all have a case of Mitsubishi-itis.
Most are probably terminal too lol

it comes standard on mitsubishi's. they are all smokers. crappy engine designs throughout the range. you would think that after the first 5 smoking engine designs they would sort thier act out

They are for sale because they are either using water or oil or both. If it was an easy or cheap fix they would be fixing it wouldn't they, and not flogging it off for whatever they can get to the next mugs who are being seduced by a cheap family wagon.

it's usually valve guides, upgrade the valve stem seals to the "perfect circle" brand & the problem goes away.

Its notalways white smoke thats the problem(usually steam, sometimes its caused by cracked head), its blue smoke the problem.

Most of the chariots left on the road are GDi models, will have inlet manifolds gummed up with carbon, will run too rich, & piston rings will be gummed up too, using excessive oil & fuel

They are M cars. To be avoided at all cost. Yet to see a Mitsi that doesn't smoke. Seems to be a common feature of them!
