did a vtnz vir check,rego overdue 3 months,yep i knew that,but on the "information section" was "current owner suppressed" why is this,who is it registered to! could pay my hard earner cash to a stranger! any help appreciated

If it's anything like carjam you have to enter the current registered owners details and the system will verify them, assuming they match of course. There must have been a change a while ago regarding registered owner information available on these VIR checks. Someone will enlighten you soon.
If you're worried about this just ask to see the sellers drivers licence and/or a utility bill along with the registration document.
Since the public registrations are closed, you must have an invite from a current member to be able to register and post in this thread.
