Last done in Nov 02 @ 123000km now @ 138000km. Roughly when would it need doing again! Been told so many different mileages.

100,000km or 5 years! As above though getting it done will probably cost more than the car is worth, but then being stuck in the middle of no where can have its down side just ask Brad and Janet

It is possibly non-interference motor, and in which case a snapped cam-belt does not damage the engine at all, so you can drive it until it snaps, no worries. Tell us the engine model and we can confirm this.

Should be a 4G63 if its a 2L. SOHC 8v which from memory (one of Phil Westons posts) its non-interference. Its not a complicated engine to work on and the belt is due so I would just get it done.

Oh and the factory recommendation for the older G63 motors is 100,000km or 10 years.
Either way, its time to do it.
