Live by the sword you die by the sword.

During a protest ride too!

There is a good reason why A&E Staff call helmet-less motorcyclists "organ donors"!

attitudedesignz, Jul 5, 8:48am
Oh the irony lol.

Jaysus . no-one would wish that on him, for sure.
.But that's a pro-helmet publicist's wet-dream.

louweez1, Jul 5, 1:13pm
lol i have to admit i giggled! we ride but we wear helmets and proper leathers! enjoyment can be done so safely! also i have to say at least full faced helmets stop bugs hitting ya face and your eyes dont water!

berg, Jul 5, 2:50pm
Yep. Even if it was legal to ride helmet-less in NZ I would still wear one. I have the scars and vivid memories of how badly things can go wrong. Good gear saved my life.

I've got a broken helmet hanging in my shed as a reminder.
My head was in it when it broke!

doug207, Jul 5, 3:49pm
Same here, all the gear all the time.

trogedon, Jul 5, 6:06pm
Me too(for motorcycling), but not when I'm doing 70 + kph down a hill clad in two items of lycra and a helmet.

johnf_456, Jul 5, 6:17pm
Second that, safety gear on 2 wheel is you're best friend.

wrong2, Jul 5, 6:33pm
i dont see how anyone can be in favour of riding helmetless

dr.doolittle, Jul 5, 6:53pm
Helmets are great but I still think the best bit of safety kit is whats between your ears.

compchick, Sep 2, 12:02am
I remember something similar but he was passing us riding in the breakdown lane, or the guy with his little kid on the back wearing equally stupid non-protective gear (at least he wasn't speeding). This was in Aus mind you.
