The head says "keep the Maxima",

It's a bargain for the price.

But, I wouldn't recommend it for a daily driver.

You must have man flue. You'll be better in a week or two.

What is better! some boring jap shitbox that excells at nothing!
Citroens, awesome innovative cars far ahead of their time. I'm a V8 guy but a DS will grace my garage one day.

The price is a bargain, for the amount of work that has obviously gone into it.

The interior material fabric, alone, would have cost big $$$.

What a car. It would have cost many times to restore it than what they are asking.

A remember a not that ancient a Citroen that cost me an absolute arm and a leg when it busted a cam belt at 60,000km and then spat the gearbox about a month after being back on the road.

Total cost! Oh, about $4500 and that was cheap!

Never again bloody frogs!

franc123, Jul 5, 6:27am
That represents damn good buying at that money, you sure as hell couldn't rebuild one up to that standard for the same price. It would have to be one of the best examples of a CX available anywhere.

My initial thoughts were "are you mad !" but on closer inspection and as an automotive enthusiastin general I am now seeing something quite special, and if I could I would certainly consider it . but I would keep it covered up and only drive it on sunny weekends .

freedomaira320, Jul 5, 4:08pm
