I remember reading a research page showing K&N as the highest flow rate and filtration, along with (I think) was Trust or GReddy. It also said POD filters had very little hp increase over panel filters of the same makes. YOu get what you pay for!

the foam style aren't good for filtration. Get a good flat panel style with cold air box / feed

Its quite a high power car , It was bulit by greg lund (silverdale) , i recently got it in a trade for my old car. It has a foam pod filter on the end of a t04e garrat turbo , those cold air boxes look like the thing to do., with a k&n filter

How much extra power can a cold airbox produce ! As opposed to a foam filter just hanging off the end of the turbo

Depends totally on the car and what hp it's making right now. Slap one on a nana 1.0L Daihatsu and you will get nothing. Put it on a fire-breathing 8.2L Viper SRT10 and it will make a world of difference!
