Went round to help out a friend with her KIA that had flat battery. Was a strange clicking noise under fuse box assembly like a relay or some protection circuit going nuts. Voltage was very sad 5.5V! Put charger onto battery and noise stopped. Car started ok after hour n bit of charging and held charge overnight. She has had random weak battery moments in last few weeks. Looks like original battery and car gets used often. Intrigued to know what that clicking was and if its a problem to be looked at further. Thanks in advance.

The resident cockroaches have been using the battery to run their home heating so when the battery went flat their teeth started chattering.

Haha of yes of course. lol Did some searching on forums overseas, seems to be one of two things. Parasitic drain from ECU not shutting down occasionaly, apparently their is a fix you can upload to ecu or the auto headlight on thingy for when someone goes back to the car and opens a door after its turned off.
